THE BRAND

Nicole Benefield Portfolio is One Collection, One Chapter at a time. Each collection is utilitarian inspired, designed in chapters that define a new dress code of the modern uniform. 

Taking cues from styles we live in; each phase of the collection captures the ease of everyday clothing staples in our lives, which have evolved into a new dress code that defines comfort into everyday chic.  Whether it’s across a seasonless range of made-to-order fashion or small batch, ready to ship styles, the ambition is to responsibly source with a considered approach. 

THE DESIGNER

Nicole is a Brooklyn born designer driven by emotion over trend. Upon graduating Parsons, where she obtained a degree in fashion design, Nicole held several leadership roles for top women’s retailers specializing in a casual lifestyle.  Adopting those attributes into her own personal dress code, led to the launch of her eponymous label in 2020. 

In 2022, Nicole was invited as an Interim Member of The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA).  Nicole has been recognized and supported through organizations as an emerging designer, which include the BeResonant Program, The Black in Fashion Council, and Harlem’s Fashion Row.  In October of 2023, the Abercrombie and Fitch x Harlem’s Fashion Row x Nicole Benefield collaboration launched in Abercrombie and Fitch retail stores and online.
